AGL wiki established

Juha-Matti Liukkonen <juha-matti.liukkonen@...>

Hello all!

We finally have a wiki for AGL related documentation. We have just migrated the getting started instructions to the wiki at <http://wiki.automotive.linuxfoundation.org/index.php/Main_Page>. The instructions have been updated to match the current reality, including the minor tool and URL changes that came with Tizen 2.0 updates.

We still need to figure out how to add the other language translations, refactor the structure a bit, and figure out what are the next most important areas to document. But we now have a collaboration tool where materials can be kept up-to-date and contributed to.

The wiki should have functionality for users to create their own accounts.

Please read, review, comment and contribute!

Best regards,
- Jussi Liukkonen

Thank you, Jussi. You beat me to it. :)

So, yes the Wiki is finally up and I apologize for the long delay. I wanted to have this up and running much sooner after our meeting in Barcelona early November.

If you looked at the Wiki earlier today you needed an account to be able to read the pages. That was a configuration issue. Of course, the AGL Wiki is open for everyone to access and read. It is also open for anyone to contribute. For that of course you will need to create an account at <http://wiki.automotive.linuxfoundation.org/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin>.

During the meeting in Barcelona we also agreed on launching a first round of expert groups. Every expert group has its collaboration space on the wiki. I have created links to the expert groups on the wiki's main page and invited the expert group leads to start seeding the pages with info.

We also have mailing lists for every expert group. You can find the info and sign-up links at <http://automotive.linuxfoundation.org/what-is-automotive-grade-linux/automotive-grade-linux-mailing-lists>. The expert group leads are the list moderators.

Please start contributing and collaborating!

Best regards,
Rudi
